Access to Highway 5 to be interrupted Sunday night

KAMLOOPS — Roadwork will create a minor slowdown for some drivers looking to take Highway 5 North in Kamloops.
Road rehabilitation work will block access to the eastbound exit of Highway 1, leading to Highway 5 overnight Sunday. It’s expected the turnoff will be blocked Sunday (July 12) from 8:00 p.m. to Monday morning at 6:30 a.m.
Passenger vehicles can take a detour via Comazzetto Road. Large commercial trucks will use Kokanee Way as a U-turn route on Highway 1 and continue to the Highway 5 North exit.
