THE BLACK-CHELOR? Page Six reports that amid a major pop culture reckoning, VH1 once considered calling Flavor-Flav‘s 2006 dating show The Black-chelor. “The top execs were tossing it around,” said a source. “It was more a nod to the fact that there was never going to be an actual black Bachelor [on the ABC hit dating show], so Flavor Flav was the closest thing.” Flav’s show was eventually called The Flavor of Love. And The Bachelor will finally air a season starring a black Bachelor. (Page Six)

AMANDA KLOOTS REFLECTS: After sharing news of her husband Nick Cordero‘s death from coronavirus, Amanda Kloots is looking for a silver lining. She wrote on social media, along with a montage of family scenes: “I have always been lucky to have a family that loves to be together and to support each other. KRISTIAN ALFONSO LEAVES DAYS: A new Days will dawn! Kristian Alfonso has announced her departure from Days of Our Lives after 37 years on the show. The 56-year-old said on social media: “I have built some lifelong friendships with my extraordinarily talented castmates. Days has one of the hardest working crews in all of television, many of whom have become part of my extended family,’ she continued. “I feel blessed and honored to have been invited into people’s homes for over three decades.” (Us)
