Blazers sign 3rd round pick from 2020 bantam draft

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers have signed a 3rd round pick from the 2020 bantam draft.

Luke Korte was taken 52nd overall, and was the first of the Blazers two picks in round three.

Korte, who is from Saskatoon, played last season with the West Vancouver Warriors in the Canadian Sports School League, scoring 19 goals and 59 points in 28 games.

Because of his age, he’s 15, Korte will play next season in the Saskatchewan Midget League.

Korte joins first round pick Kaden Hammell as the seconds Blazers prospect to sign from this springs bantam draft.
