Actors wanted for new action movie filming in Kamloops area

KAMLOOPS — A production company is on the hunt for actors to take part in an upcoming action movie set to be filmed in the Kamloops area.

Infraction Media Inc. and Kamloops-based Mastermind Studios are working together to produce Valetika, a new action thriller movie. Written, and directed by Suza Singh, the movie is about a young woman who seeks revenge on the government agency responsible for the death of her parents.

According to a release sent by Mastermind Studios, Singh was ‘instantly taken with the beauty and diversity of the region and has decided to shift the production out of Alberta’.

“We are centralizing our production to Mastermind Studios. We feel this is a logical decision due to their professionalism, expertise, and familiarity with the industry. Mastermind Studios has trained to industry standard many professionals for crew so we are in very capable hands.” states Singh in a release, “We look forward to working with local businesses, talent and crew in the Kamloops and TNRD region of BC.”

Actors already included in the film’s cast include Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale, A Night at the Roxbury, Scary Movie, White Chicks), Cung Le, Sunny Singh, Dakota House, Asha Annais, Rajat Bedi and Simon Kook. (For more about Valetika, click here)
