KAMLOOPS — The province is partnering with the Kamloops-Thompson School District to create more than 40 new childcare spaces in Kamloops.

The spaces will be added to the Kamloops Child Development Centre (KCDC) near McDonald Park on the North Shore.

According to a provincial news release, the 42 spaces will be split between infant/toddler (12), children aged three to five (17) and school-aged children (13).

The spaces are expected to be ready by this summer.
