Evacuation alert lifted for six properties in Fern Road – Maple Drive area of Quesnel

QUESNEL, B.C. — Good news in Quesnel.

The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) has lifted an evacuation alert from May 8 for six properties in the Fern Road and Maple Drive areas of the city.

The six affected properties are: 671 Fern Rd, 682 Fern Rd, 692 Fern Rd, 734 Maple Drive, 750 Maple Drive and 766 Maple Drive.

The CRD says an evacuation alert or order may need to be reissued due to flooding activity and residents must remain prepared.
