Seven new COVID-19 cases in B.C. to close out the week

KAMLOOPS — The B.C. health ministry is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19 Friday (June 19).

In a news release, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says today’s added cases bring the total to 2,790 since the pandemic began in B.C.

The cases are distributed through the province as follows:

  • 952 (Vancouver Coastal)
  • 1,446 (Fraser Health)
  • 130 (Vancouver Island)
  • 197 (Interior Health)
  • 65 (Northern Health)
