UPDATE: Power restored on Kamloops North Shore

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE (9:15 a.m.): According to the BC Hydro website, power has been restored for the majority of affected residents.

EARLIER (9:00 a.m.): Kamloops North Shore residents are dealing with a large power outage Thursday morning (June 18).

According to BC Hydro’s website, the power is out for more than 3,200 customers in the heart of the North Shore, stretching northwest and encompassing McArthur Island and parts of Brocklehurst.

As of 9:00 a.m., BC Hydro said the cause was under investigation and a crew is on site investigating.
