BILLIE LEE TELLS ALL: Billie Lee is revealing what happened behind the scenes on Vanderpump Rules. “I had some of the hardest times with that show and a lot of my mental health took its toll,” the transgender activist, 36, recently told Page Six. “I slipped into a really bad depression … and when the suicidal thoughts came in, that’s when I knew I had to really, like, check my mental health and get back into order and disconnect myself from the whole ‘\Vanderpump stuff.” She doesn’t regret it though. “They have a system on how they pay their newcomers and it starts out at a low scale,” she explained while describing her financial difficulties. “But even during the show, behind the scenes, I was struggling to pay my bills, but I couldn’t tell anyone because here I am famous and on a show and as a trans activist I’m supposed to represent this certain thing.” (Page Six)

BEVERLY JOHNSON CALLS FOR CHANGE: Vogue‘s first black cover model Beverly Johnson is calling on editor Anna Wintour to make real change. In a Washington Post piece, she wrote that real change is needed: “I propose the ‘Beverly Johnson Rule’ for Cond Nast, similar to the Rooney Rule in the NFL that mandates that a diverse set of candidates must be interviewed for any open coaching and front office position. The ‘Beverly Johnson Rule’ would require at least two black professionals to be meaningfully interviewed for influential positions.” (WaPo)

TOO HOT TO HANDLE STARS SPLIT: Too Hot to Handle couple Francesco Farago and Harry Jowsey have called it quits after getting together on the hit Netflix reality show. She said Jowsey ended things. “Harry and I are not together anymore,” Farago, 26, shared with her fans on social media, adding she “obviously was heartbroken” by the decision. (ET)

DEMI LOVATO’S GETAWAY: Demi Lovato rented the famous “invisible house” in Joshua Tree for a getaway with boyfriend Max Ehrich, TMZ reports. The pad costs $2,500 a night, and looks like a skyscraper on its side. It features a 100-foot-long indoor swimming pool and a movie projection screen. (TMZ)

OPRAH WINFREY’S SLEUTHING SKILLS: Oprah Winfrey pulls out all the stops when she’s looking for someone. She tracked down Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison by calling her local fire department, the director of American Masters episode “Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am,” Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, told Page Six. He said: “Oprah wanted to adapt her book Beloved into a film but she didn’t have Toni’s phone number. So the only way of tracking her down was for her to get in touch with [Morrison’s] local fire department.” (Page Six)
