Glass-breaking vandal hits parked cars in Valleyview

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say it appears a spate of damaged vehicles in Valleyview is nothing more than an act of wanton vandalism.

In a news release, Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says a number of parked vehicles were damaged overnight Monday to Tuesday (June 16). The vehicles were parked in the area of Valleyview Drive between Highland Road and Grand Boulevard.

Vehicles had their driver’s-side windows broken by a pellet gun or other small projectile.

Shelkie says so far, it appears nothing was taken from the vehicles.

Investigators are asking anyone with surveillance cameras in the area to contact them at (250) 828-3000.
