Longtime KIBT executive has passed away

KAMLOOPS — A well known and longtime coach and sports volunteer in Kamloops has died.

Dean Padar passed away yesterday of cancer at the age of 53.

A longtime executive and former president and current vice president of the Kamloops International Baseball Tournament, Padar played and also coached hockey and baseball.

Dean Padar is survived by his wife Krista, 15-year old son Frank and his many friends in the sports community.
