KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is enlisting the help of local artists to help fight vandalism.

In a news release, the City has put out a call for proposals to paint six waste bins on McArthur Island. The effort is meant to discourage vandals from targeting the bins.

One of the only stipulations is that the proposals must showcase “a celebration of sport.”

The call for artists closes on June 26. For more information or to apply, visit this link.
