KAMLOOPS — Twenty-five years ago last month the Kamloops Blazers won their third Memorial Cup in four years.
Two weeks later, on this day 25 years ago, the unthinkable happened, sending shock waves through the hockey world.
Bob Brown, the architect of the Memorial Cup dynasty and one of the most successful general managers in Canadian Junior Hockey history, was unceremoniously fired.
