MEGHAN MARKLE BREAKS SILENCE ON GEORGE FLOYD: Meghan Markle spoke out on the murder of George Floyd during a virtual commencement speech Wednesday night. Speaking to her former high school in L.A., Immaculate Heart, she said: “Because George Floyd‘s life mattered, and Breonna Taylor‘s life mattered, and Philando Castile‘s life mattered, and Tamir Rice‘s life mattered, and so did so many other people whose names we know and whose names we don’t know. Stephon Clark. His life mattered.” She spoke about her own experience during the 1992 race riots in L.A. and said she was “sorry” that the world hasn’t really changed much since she was a child.
