Kamloops RCMP member all business — even on his birthday

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops RCMP detachment is celebrating a special birthday Tuesday (June 2).

Fargo, a dedicated canine member of the local force, is seven.

An email from the detachment notes Fargo has had many travels and experiences during his RCMP career, proudly joining partner Cpl. Steve Prior in postings in Newfoundland, Alberta and B.C.

Fargo spends his days “tracking bad guys” and sniffing out drugs, and is also a part of the RCMP Southeast District Emergency Response Team, meaning he is called upon to join in the response to high-risk calls in the region.
