TCC indoor track to reopen Monday

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops says the indoor track at the Tournament Capital Centre (TCC) will reopen on Monday (June 1).

However, the City says other amenities at the TCC will remain closed as officials determine the safest way to reopen in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The upper gym areas, EZ Line fitness equipment and Fieldhouse sports courts will all remain closed for the time being.

Hours at the TCC have been adjusted to 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on a temporary basis.

Meantime, the City of Kamloops says its sports fields are open to unstructured play but not to organized games or scrimmages. City basketball courts will see nets reinstalled as soon as possible.

Community halls, pools, arenas and water parks remain closed.
