Music News with Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift
LADY GAGA FANS PRANK FEDEX WITH ‘CHROMATICA’ TRUCK PHOTO: Lady Gaga posted a photo of herself behind the wheel of a truck wrapped in artwork for her new album “Chromatica,” and joked that she was “delivering #Chromatica myself to every retailer around the world.” A fan tweeted the photo to both FedEx and its customer service Twitter account @FedExHelp, and captioned it, “This woman almost hit me while driving down my block delivering packages for you. I wrote her plates down just in time..it read ‘PSSYWGN’ please do something immediately.” That license plate was actually on the truck that Gaga and Beyonc drove in their video for “Telephone” back in 2010. But FedEx’s customer service rep evidently hadn’t seen that video. “Hello, this is Lisa. I’m sorry to hear of this incident. Please DM as much information as possible,” the @FedExHelp account replied. “Name, address, phone number, email address, truck number, and if it was a FedEx Express, Ground, or Home Delivery truck so that I can report this to the appropriate station.”
BURGER KING TICKS OFF TAYLOR SWIFT FANS: Burger King is in big trouble with Taylor Swift fans after firing off a sarcastic tweet at the singer’s expense. It started after a Taylor Swift fan on Twitter asked Burger King what its favorite Swift song was. The chain replied with a snarky, now-deleted, response: “The one about her ex.” Swift fans saw the comment as a sexist dig and responded by getting the hashtag #BurgerKingIsOverParty trending. Even McDonald’s got in on the action by claiming they “would never” poke fun at Taylor. Burger King attempted to move on from the controversy, tweeting with a winky face, “let’s shake it off. celebrate #BurgerKingIsOverParty with the $3 shake + fries deal in the app.”

Chromatica will also include the singles “Stupid Love” and “Rain On Me” featuring Ariana Grande. Gaga and Grande recently released a music video for “Rain On Me” and a promo video for the song where the pop stars portrayed meteorologists.
