KAMLOOPS — RCMP members rushed to the Lansdowne Village Shopping Centre in downtown Kamloops Wednesday afternoon (May 27) after a gun complaint.
In a news release, Staff Sgt. Sascha Fesenko says the call of a vehicle with a firearm inside came in at about 3:00 p.m.
The first officer on scene located the vehicle in question, and it was occupied. More officers rushed to the scene and converged on the vehicle.
A man and a woman were taken into custody as RCMP investigated, but a search of the vehicle did not turn up the gun.
