SPECIAL VIDEO: The tribute ceremony honouring Capt. Jennifer Casey

KAMLOOPS — Capt. Jennifer Casey died May 17 when the Snowbirds Tutor jet she was travelling in crashed in Brocklehurst. Capt. Richard MacDougall was injured in the incident.

On Thursday, May 21, the Royal Canadian Legion organized a tribute ceremony for Capt. Casey at Kamloops Airport.

While the public was asked to stay away so physical distancing restrictions could be enforced, CFJC Today‘s Jill Sperling and Kent Simmonds were honoured to attend the moving ceremony. They prepared this video.
