KAMLOOPS — Highway 5A between Merritt and Kamloops has re-opened after it was closed due to high water.
According to Drive BC, the route is now open to single-lane, alternating traffic on a temporary, gravel surface. There is a 50 per cent axle weight load restriction in place.
Motorists are asked to expect delays.
The highway was shut down on May 4 after waters from Stump Lake spilled across the driving lanes in three places.
