Only seven new cases of COVID-19 in B.C.; 78 per cent of all cases now recovered

VICTORIA — Provincial health officials have reported the lowest number of new COVID-19 cases in exactly two months.

In her daily briefing, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported seven new test positive cases Tuesday (May 12), bringing the total number in B.C. to 2,360.

The last time B.C. saw seven or fewer new cases was March 12.

One more person has died of COVID-19, bringing the provincial death toll to 131.
