KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue crews have a landscape fire in the Heffley Creek area under control.
The blaze broke out mid-afternoon Tuesday (May 12).
Assistant Chief Ryan Cail says the fire grew to around 40-feet-by-40-feet in size before crews were able to douse it.
Cail says no one was injured and no property was destroyed.
It’s believed the fire was caused by a slash burn gone out of control.
