B.C. records 33 new COVID-19 cases, two further deaths

VICTORIA — The province is reporting 33 new cases of COVID-19 across British Columbia, and two more deaths due to the virus.

In her Thursday (May 7) update, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said the total of positive cases in B.C. has now reached 2,288. The two further deaths bring the provincial death toll to 126.

Here are where the total cases have been mapped in B.C.:

  • 865 (Vancouver Coastal)
  • 1064 (Fraser Health)
  • 126 (Vancouver Island)
  • 179 (Interior Health)
  • 54 (Northern Health)
