HBO MAX ORDERS SELENA GOMEZ COOKING SERIES: A new cooking series starring and executive produced by Selena Gomez has received a straight-to-series order from HBO Max. The untitled show will premiere on HBO Max in the summer and feature Gomez cooking at home as she stays indoors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gomez will be joined by a different master chef across 10 episodes and will tackle trying to make a variety of dishes. Each episode will also highlight a food-related charity. HBO Max launches on May 27th. A subscription costs $14.99 a month.

KATY PERRY WAS GOING TO PAY HOMAGE TO MADONNA’S ICONIC CONE BRA AT MET GALA 2020: Katy Perry was planning on attending the 2020 Met Gala and she has shared the look that she was going to wear to the annual event. The 35-year-old singer, who is pregnant with her first child, was planning on wearing a design by Jean Paul Gaultier and it was going to pay homage to his iconic cone bra. Gaultier created the cone bra in 1983 and the design that he made for Madonna’s Blonde Ambition tour in 1990 became one of her most well-known looks. The theme of this year’s gala was going to be “About Time: Fashion and Duration.”

SARAH BRIGHTMAN TO STREAM CONCERT SATURDAY FOR CHARITY: Sarah Brightman will stream one of her classic concerts for charity. Sarah Brightman: In Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring Andrea Bocelli and Andrew Lloyd Webber, will be shown online Saturday at 3 p.m. [ET] on Brightman’s YouTube channel. Brightman recorded the concert at Royal Albert Hall in London in September 1997. Brightman performs classical and Broadway songs, including “Time to Say Goodbye” with Bocelli and “Whistle Down the Wind” with Lloyd Webber. The full performance, which is not commercially available, will be available to watch for 72 hours. Viewers are encouraged to donate to the Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief and COVID-19 Solidarity Response coronavirus relief funds.
