Massive, year-long Tranquille Road sewer project to begin next week
KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops says a major utility upgrade project will kick off next Monday.
The construction will see a portion of a sewer main along Tranquille Road between 12th Street and Southill Street replaced.
Extreme Excavating won the contract for the job, and will begin construction Monday with the closure of the westernmost portion, between Southill and Desmond. A detour will be available on Gelrich Avenue.
To keep track of traffic delays and detours in the area, the City has installed four new webcams along Tranquille Road.
