KAMLOOPS — Here are the Kamloops Crime Stoppers crimes of the week for May 5, 2020.

Crime of the Week #1

Kamloops Crime Stoppers hope you can help them identify a man accused of using credit cards that weren’t his.

The agency says on April 12, a vehicle was broken into and a wallet went missing.

Afterward, credit cards from that wallet were used at several local convenience stores.

Suspect description:

  • White
  • In his 30s
  • Scruffy facial hair
  • Wearing a black hoodie and ball cap with red accents

Crime of the Week #2

What type of person would steal a mobility scooter? This type.

Kamloops Crime Stoppers says sometime overnight between May 1 and 2, a man broke into a backyard in a residential area.

The mobility scooter he took is described as a red Shop Ride brand.

  • White
  • Short hair
  • Scruffy facial hair
  • Smoking a cigarette
  • Carrying a bicycle and a backpack
  • Wearing a head lamp and light-coloured clothing

Crime of the Week #3

This crime is several months old, but Kamloops Crime Stoppers is still looking for the person responsible.

In early February, a number of personal cheques were “fraudulently cashed” by a woman.
