SAM LLOYD DIES: Scrubs star Sam Lloyd has died at age 56. He rose to fame playing Ted Buckley on Scrubs. Lloyd was diagnosed with lung cancer in January of 2019, weeks after his wife Vanessa gave birth to their first child together.Scrubs co-star Zach Braff expressed his condolences, tweeting: “Rest In Peace to one of the funniest actors I’ve ever had the joy of working with.
