Masks will not be mandatory at Kamloops Costco

KAMLOOPS — It appears Costco customers in Canada will not be required to wear masks inside stores. Face masks can prevent the spread of COVID-19.

There has been confusion over the store’s policy after Costco announced this week that masks would be mandatory for customers in its U.S. stores.

An employee of the Kamloops Costco location who spoke to CFJC Today said mandatory masks for customers at the local store had been the policy announced to staff earlier this week.

However, the employee said that changed for Costco stores in Canada mid-week.
