VIDEO: Kamloops first responders help make girl’s birthday parade extra special

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops girl got a special surprise for her 11th birthday party Monday (Apr. 27).

With COVID-19 physical distancing, young Kait Beresh wasn’t able to have a normal party, so friends organized a drive-by parade in Brocklehurst.

What Kait didn’t expect was who else joined the parade — Kamloops RCMP, Kamloops Fire Rescue and the BC Ambulance Service.
