Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music called off for 2020

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Music Collective (KMC) has announced the cancellation of the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music (KISSM) for 2020.

This year was to be the 42nd year for the music school.

In a news release, KMC says it wants to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and “[m]uch of the magic of KISSM comes from the energy that is generated between the staff and students.”

Executive Director Kim Mangan says KMC is tentatively working on putting together smaller music workshops that could be delivered in late summer.
