VANCOUVER — While COVID-19 is impacting thousands of people across Canada, thousands more are experiencing impacts to their mental health.
In an effort to address that issue, the B.C. Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA BC) has revamped its online offerings to allow more people to assess their own mental well-being.
The new tools are presented with support of the Government of B.C.
In a news release, CMHA BC says local mental health resources are in huge demand, and cites an Insights West poll finding 62 per cent of British Columbians are feeling more worried than usual. Another 57 per cent say they are experiencing more anxiety than before the pandemic was declared.
