B.C. Transit will remain free through May

VICTORIA — B.C. Transit users won’t be reaching for their pocketbooks anytime soon.

The transit operator says it is extending its policy of not collecting fares during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those needing refunds for fare products they already purchased will receive details when Transit announces a return to regular fares.

Passengers will also continue boarding at the rear of the bus where possible.
