KAMLOOPS —- For their first 11 seasons the Kamloops Blazers, and before that the Junior Oilers, played out of Memorial Arena.
On our trip down memory lane tonight we take you back 28 years.
In the fall of 1992, less than five months after winning their first Memorial Cup, the Blazers moved into their new digs at the Riverside Coliseum, now known as the Sandman Centre.
After starting the season on the road for the first three games, they finally made their much anticipated Riverside Coliseum debut on Friday, October 9, 1992 against the Portland Winterhawks.
