Three new COVID-19 deaths in B.C.; five new cases in Interior Health
VICTORIA — The B.C. government has announced three new COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours, along with 27 new test-positive cases.
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said in her daily news conference today (Apr. 14) that the total number of cases in the province since the pandemic began is now 1,517.
Of those cases, 942 people in B.C. have now recovered from the virus, or 62 per cent of all positive cases.
Today’s numbers show 134 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, including 58 patients in intensive care.
