Kamloops volunteers cooking up pair of Easter meals for city’s less fortunate
KAMLOOPS — A team of local volunteers will be putting on Easter meals today and tomorrow for the less fortunate community in Kamloops.
The Kamloops COVID Meal Train project, started through Facebook, has partnered with the Lived Experience Committee, and Terra restaurant to cook up a pair of take-away meals.
Turkey, and all the trimmings will be served this afternoon (Apr. 12) from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m at the Pit Stop location behind the United Church downtown. (Lane behind church, along St. Paul Street and 4th Avenue)
While the Easter Monday meal will be served up tomorrow afternoon (Apr. 13) in the Mustard Seed parking lot from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. (181 Victoria St. West)
