Downtown Kamloops offering free webinar for businesses looking to adapt during pandemic

KAMLOOPS — Downtown Kamloops is using virtual methods to help local business owners develop, or review their operation plans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wednesday (April 15), a free webinar- Adapting Your Business Model in Challenging Times, will be streamed online for Kamloops businesses and entrepreneurs to join in on.

The session will be led by local business leaders who have found ways to work with current pandemic restrictions in place- including David Tombs of Terra Restaurant, and Nicki James, owner of Mainstreet Clothing downtown. The webinar will also be facilitated by Maren Luciani, a senior planner with Meraki Community Planning.

Downtown Kamloops says in a release that the goal is to give business owners some peer mentorship, and resources to help get through the economic strain caused by the global health crisis.
