KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is introducing new measures on McArthur Island to help people successfully physical distance.

In a news release, the City says the ring road on McArthur Island will be closed to vehicle traffic and remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.

This will help provide extra space to maintain the required two-metre distance.

The City is also installing construction fencing around the skateboard park to limit the number of people using it at one time.
