Blazers goaltender Rayce Ramsay – remembering Humboldt

KAMLOOPS — Two years ago today, April 6, 2018, began like any other normal day.

It was a Friday.

By the end of the day, it was anything but normal.

A bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos hockey team on the way to a playoff game collided with a transport truck.

Sixteen on the bus died and thirteen others suffered injuries, some of them life altering.

Less than six months later the Broncos returned to the ice with a team that had to rebuilt throughout the lineup.

One of those new Broncos in the 2018-19 season was goaltender Rayce Ramsay, who played this past season with the Kamloops Blazers.
