More snow for Coquihalla Highway prompts snowfall warning

MERRITT, B.C. — After heavy snowfall this morning and more on the way, Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Hope to Merritt stretch of the Coquihalla Highway.
The forecaster says that five to 10 centimetres of snow fell over the stretch overnight, and 10 to 15 centimetres more is expected by this evening.
Drivers are urged to check DriveBC before they head out.
