VIDEO: Lillooet residents cheer on first responders parade

LILLOOET, B.C. — Residents of Lillooet were treated to an impromptu parade Monday evening (Mar. 31).

Local resident Orra Storkan says first responders in the community organized the parade as a way to boost morale during the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Storkan says the parade was not advertised in advance in order to prevent people from gathering together to watch.
