KAMLOOPS — It can be tough for young children to understand why they can’t see their teachers and friends during the COVID-19 pandemic.
So staff members at Arthur Hatton Elementary made sure they got to see some of their students Friday morning (March 27).
Kids like Lily and Hank Yamelst spent the morning decorating signs to hold up while they waited for their favourite teachers and staff members to come by their neighbourhood in a social distancing parade.
Staff members came up with the idea earlier this week, and this morning they took the time to drive through North Shore neighbourhoods to spread some cheer.
