BCCDC says person with COVID-19 landed in Kamloops Saturday

KAMLOOPS — WestJet has confirmed that a flight from Calgary to Kamloops on March 21 had a confirmed case of COVID-19 on board.

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control released the information Thursday (Mar. 26) regarding WestJet flight 3241.

Passengers who were seated near a confirmed case during the flight will be contacted by the province.

Affected passengers are asked to self-isolate and monitor symptoms for 14 days following the flight.
