145 new COVID-19 cases in B.C. since Sunday
VICTORIA — Since Sunday afternoon (March 22), B.C. has recorded 145 new cases of COVID-19.
In her daily news briefing with Health Minister Adrian Dix, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said the increased number of cases can partly be attributed to the fact that the numbers being reported were from Sunday afternoon.
In total, B.C. has 617 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 41 in the Interior Health region.
Across the province, 59 people with the illness are in hospital with 23 of those patients in Intensive Care Units.
