Madonna’s Speaks from her Tub

Madonna posted a video of herself in a bathtub talking about the global health crisis.

“That’s the thing about COVID-19, it doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are…it’s the great equalizer, and what’s terrible about it is what’s great about it. What’s terrible about it is it’s made us equal in many ways. And what’s wonderful about it is that it’s made us equal in many ways. Like I used to say at the end of ‘Human Nature’ every night, we’re all in the same boat. If the ship goes down, we’re all going down together,” she said.

Madonna, who also posted a picture of herself with petals over her nipples, captioned the post: “No discrimination – Covid-19! #quarantine #covid_19 #staysafe.”

Madonna’s bathtub sermon was met with a wave of negative messages on social media.

Commentator @jessicapgli said, “Sorry my queen, love u so much, but we’re not equal. We can die from the same diseases, but the poor will suffer the most. Do not romanticize nothing of this tragedy.”

@jennyeversonsmith responded, “You sure about that? Covid testing…the rich and famous seem to be getting tested without any issues…ahem.”

It has been reported Madonna is isolating in London with her dancer boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams and daughter Mercy James.

Meanwhile, Weird Al Yankovic, who once spoofed Madonna with “Like a Surgeon,” once again prodded the Material Mom after she uploaded a silly video in her bathroom singing a lyrically modified version of “Vogue” amid the ongoing global health crisis. “See? Not so easy, is it?” he quote-tweeted her performance, garnering nearly 60,000 likes.
