LATE NIGHT CONTINUES AT HOME: Late night hosts are practicing social distancing at home, while still hopping on the air. Stephen Colbert did a monologue from his tub in a suit, while Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel also hopped on the air. “Welcome to The Tonight Show, I’m so excited to be doing the show from my panic room, I mean, living room!” Fallon quipped as his wife, Nancy, filmed him in their home. “Of course, there’s no audience, well there is an audience — my wife — but she doesn’t really laugh at everything that I say.” Kimmel joked: “Since I have nothing to do and the fact that you’re watching this makes me assume you have nothing to do, I’m going to shoot a mini-monologue every day until we get back from my house where I am currently incarcerated, I mean, camping out with my family. You learn a lot about yourself when you’re isolated at home. For instance, I learned that I have two young children which was really something to find out.” (ET)
DID AMBER HEARD BASH JOHNNY DEPP’S HEAD? Amber Heard copped to smashing a door into ex-husband Johnny Depp‘s head in a new round of leaked recordings in their ongoing court battle, Page Six reports. The 33-year-old said: “I am so sorry … I can remember hitting you as a response to the door thing. And I’m really sorry about hitting you with the door or hitting your head. I did not mean to.” The tapes were made as a part of marital therapy. (Page Six)
KATHY GRIFFIN REVEALS MOM’S DEATH: Kathy Griffin shared the sad news that her mom died on social media, writing: “My Mom, the one and only, Maggie Griffin, passed away today. Hours ago. I am gutted. She was my best friend. She was my family. You knew her. She appreciated you guys so much.” In June, Maggie would have turned 100. (ET)
