KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has announced increased measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
All library locations will remain open for the time being, but the district has announced the suspension of two library services — Reader’s Home Services and public computer access in all branches.
The services will be suspended immediately, and people at the library who are symptomatic will be asked to leave.
“These decisions were made to help prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 to residents who are at high-risk for severe illness from the virus, and to limit the transmission from contaminated surfaces.”
