Cascades and Chances casinos to temporarily close with rest of B.C gaming centres
KAMLOOPS — The province and BC Lottery Corporation announced today that all B.C. casinos, and community gaming centres will close due to the ongoing novel coronavirus situation.
Effective at 11:59 p.m this evening, casinos throughout the province will be required to temporarily cease operations.
This includes Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited, which owns Cascades Casino and Chances Casino in Kamloops.
In an email, Gateway says it is not sure how long the closure will be in place, but they will continue working with BCLC, and following recommendations from public health officials.
