KAMLOOPS – In light of the quickly developing COVID-19 situation across the globe, Aberdeen Mall is taking precautions to limit any risks.

In a Facebook post, the mall says it will remain open while it monitors information released by Health Canada.

Staff are already frequently sanitizing all high-traffic touchpoints through the day and have increased cleaning protocol throughout the building.

Along with that, Aberdeen Mall is implementing the following measures:

  • The signing out of courtesy strollers, wheelchairs, walkers and scooters from Guest Services has been suspended
  • The use of food court trays has also been suspended
  • All special events have also been postponed and/or cancelled, including the upcoming Benjamin Circus & West Coast Amusements

The mall says it will continue to monitor the situation.
