KAMLOOPS — The Blazers gave up a goal 12 seconds after the opening faceoff, and went on to lose 3-0 to the Spokane Chiefs.

That snapped Kamloops’ six-game winning streak while Spokane won its 10th in a row.

Adding insult to injury Chiefs goaltender Lukas Parik even scored a goal —- into an empty net with 41 seconds left.

It’s only the 9th time in league history, and the first time since Ian Scott of the Prince Albert Raiders scored on November 16, 2018 that a goaltender has scored a goal.
