Hydro poles along Victoria Street West coming out soon
KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops says the multi-million dollar project to refurbish Victoria Street West infrastructure is on track to finish up in early summer.
According to a news release from the City, March will be spent switching over properties to new utility connections.
Once those changeovers are complete, the unsightly old hydro poles that line the West Victoria corridor will be removed. Pedestrian signals will be installed on the east and west ends of the corridor and more lamp standards will be erected.
Lane closures will pop up from time to time during this work, and motorists can expect intermittent delays.
